Kadenia Williams-Javis, MBA,RTRP,LIA

Kadenia Williams-Javis, PA, MBA, RTRP, LIA is the Proprietor and CFO of Javis Financial Services, LLC dba Javis Tax Service, established in 1998. 

She is an Accountant, Author, Speaker, Consultant, and Financial Literacy Coach.

Mrs. Javis received her BS degree from Limestone College and attained her MBA degree from Strayer University (Magna Cum Laude). Her professional experience in banking and finance includes both the public and private sector with the city, state & federal governments. She is also a former IRS employee. The training during her 18 years in Corporate America has allowed her to facilitate a team that was name THE STATE'S BEST TAX OFFICE 2022-23!

 She holds the designation as an Authorized Electronic Provider, Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) & Electronic Return Originator (ERO) with the Internal Revenue Service. Memberships in several National Associations and Organizations. The Company holds several awards and Community Honors.

 Kadenia believes in educating her community about reducing their tax liabilities and she is also an advocate for financial literacy. She wants her community to be financially literate to understand the core concepts of money management and be able to apply them in a manner beneficial to their families long term financial goals. By truly learning and understanding some basic financial concepts, individuals can obtain a clearer idea of what is needed to become financially secure.

Her goal is to make finance and accounting relevant to non -financial professionals using tools and techniques that are simple to understand and apply.

          As a woman of faith, she knows how to connect with people from all walks of life. Her non-judgmental attitude and candid personality has allowed her to build a diverse clientele from Painters to Politicians.  The Accounting Firm serves clients in 32 states and 2 countries.

In 2014, she founded her non-profit organization “FBLA Jr. Scholarship Foundation"  also known now as “POWER UP Your Financial IQ!” to employ interns and introduce them to the many facets of business etiquette and give them one-on-one on the job office training. The organization also award scholarships annually to graduating High School students of their clients to assist them with other essential item other than tuition and books.  

She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Columbia Mayor's Minority Council,Serves as Treasurer at Heyward Career Center Richland School District #1Word of God International Church & Ministries, The Women’s Auxiliary VFW, Member of Dutch Fork High School PTSA and SIC, Chief Accountant at Christ Central Ministries Transitional Retreat, Treasurer of Dutch Fork Booster Volleyball Foundation and serves on various other community boards.

 Most recently, the Accounting Firm was awarded South Carolina's BEST TAX OFFICE (22-23),Columbia’s Inaugural Neighborhood Award hosted by KISS FM 103.1, The Best Financial Consultants 2021, The Best Accounting Firm 2020, The Best Tax Consultants by the Columbia Award Program to name a few.. She was named in the Inaugural Class of  SC Black Pages Top 40 under 40, Economic Empowerment Award-National Coalition of Black Woman, Top Woman of Influence, Columbia’s Trailblazer Woman, Midlands Woman On The Move, Legacy of Black Business Award, Woman of Excellence Award-Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Enduring Spirit Award in Business/Finance  and several other recognitions that she is very grateful for the observations that the community has seen in her service to all mankind.

          Kadenia is married to Christopher Javis of Irmo, and they are the proud parents of four children.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading (Tax Law Literature of course) and traveling to business seminars in states she has never visited. Kadenia and her husband love volunteering at their children’s schools where she is a member of the Student Improvement Council, PTO, and Booster Clubs. Spending time with team  members, clients and family is also a favorite past time of hers. Food, Fun, & Fellowship is a must for her well-being!
